Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA)

The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency was created to regulate cross border road transport by providing an unsurpassed service through advising, facilitating and law enforcement. Visit their website on www.cbrta.co.za

Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE)

The IRTE is a professional sector of the Society of Operational Engineers. The SOE was formed on 1 September 2000 by the merger of two well-known professional bodies, The Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE) and The Institute of Plant Engineers (IPlantE).

South African Bureau of Standards

SABS prepare and publish South African National Standards (identified by the letters SANS) reflecting national consensus on a wide range of subjects, aimed at improving the quality of life of all South Africans. Increasingly these are being harmonised with International Standards in order to facilitate trade.

FESARTA

FESARTA (Federation of East and Southern African Road Transport Associations) is a section 21 company registered in South Africa. The members of the association are the National Road Transport Associations (NRTAs) in the countries of SADC ( Southern African Development Community) and the southern part of COMESA (Common Market of East and Southern Africa).
